Offaly County Council seeks expressions of interest from individuals / groups for short term land lettings available from 01st February 2024 to the 31st December in the following locations:

Millbrook Park, Birr (3.0 acres)
Cemetery Road, Crinkle, Plot A (1.34 acres)
Killane, Edenderry, Plot A (1.86 acres)
Killane, Edenderry, Plot B (3.26 acres)
Kyleboher, Kilcormac, Land (2.7 acres)
Ballybracken, Kilcormac, Land at rear of landfill (6.3 acres)
Rathbaun, Shinrone, land to rear of Rathbaun Estate (6.83 acres)
Meadowlands, Kilcormac, Plot A (1.61 acres)
Meadowlands, Kilcormac, Blot B (1.63 acres)
Raheen Cowpark, Clara (27.8 acres)
Walsh Island Lands (30.9 acres)
Military Drill Field, Crinkill (9.13 acres)
Kylebeg, Banagher, Plot A (0.87 acres)

Lands will be made available for a period of 11 months. Submissions from individuals / groups should outline their particular requirements for the lands and state what amount of compensation is being offered in exchange for grazing rights. Only offers in excess of €75 per acre will be considered and highest offer received will be prioritised.

Tenders should be submitted to Mr Tom Shanahan, Director of Services, Offaly County Council, Áras an Chontae, Charleville Road, Tullamore on the prescribed Tender Form and placed in a sealed envelope and be clearly marked: Tender for Short Term Land Letting 2024
The closing date for receipt of written tenders is Monday, 18th December 2023 at 12 noon.
All sealed tenders will be evaluated after a formal opening process on or after the closing date. Offaly County Council are not obliged to accept any offers received but will enter negotiations with any relevant interested parties.
