My Open Library

My Open Library (MOL) allows access to the library outside of staffed times, between 08.00 – 22.00 daily.
During My Open Library hours you can : Borrow & Return items, Print, Photocopy, use our PC’s, access our Free Wifi and use our study space.

In order to become a MOL member, you will need to complete an induction for that branch, see terms and conditions below. There are no staff present during My Open Library Hours.

Important:  
Before you book a My Open Library Building Induction through on our online system you must be a library member. If you are not an existing member you can join online here, membership is FREE. You may also book an induction in person at the library.

Before you attend the My Open Library Building Induction for Tullamore Library you need to read through:

When you attend  My Open Library Building Induction for Tullamore Library:
    You must bring Photo ID 
    You must bring your library card.
To save yourself time on the day please ensure your library account is up to date prior to attending the induction.

If you are 16 or 17 years of age:

A Parent / Guardian must sign up for My Open Library with you. They must also bring Photo ID and library card.

What to expect at the induction?

    We will give you a Health and Safety Tour of the Building
    We will give you a Demonstration of how My Open Library works.
    You will need to fill out an Application Form and sign the Terms and Conditions.
    There will be sufficient time afterwards for staff to answer any questions you may have.

The My Open Library induction will be done in groups. As such, we ask all inductees to arrive promptly at the time allocated.


Inductions may take up to 45 minutes.
