Library Resources Reservation

When an item a borrower is looking for is not currently available in their branch but is on the national catalogue, it can be requested for them.

In the case of high-demand items, there may be a waiting list which the borrower will join by placing a request.

When the item becomes available, it will be sent to their selected branch for pick-up and they will be notified by email, text or phone call.

Requests are then held for a 10 day period, before being moved on to the next request or send back to their originating branch.

Requests can be placed in person at the branch or through the national catalogue.

Borrowers should ensure their account has opted in for notifications and that their contact details are correct to avoid missing out on requests.
