Following the adoption of the Healthy Offaly Plan in 2018 by the Offaly Local Community and Development Committee, a “Healthy Offaly Subcommittee” was established.
The Healthy Offaly Subcommittee – comprising membership from Offaly County Council; Offaly Sports Partnership; Health Services Executive; Laois / Offaly Education & Training Board; Offaly Public Participation Network; Offaly County Childcare Committee; Offaly Local Development Company; Offaly Libraries and other partner organisations delivering programmes – is working towards the implementation of the Healthy Offaly Fund Round 4 programme objectives. They will seek to enable Healthy Ireland funded actions to achieve the greatest impact possible on the health and wellbeing of all in Offaly in the years ahead.
