Following on from a recent Local Government Audit recommendation in relation to Vehicle Conversion applications, the following changes come into effect for EACH application received since 01 March 2022 (01.03.2022).
EACH Vehicle Conversion application must include:
- 4 page declaration of conversion prepared and signed by SQI and Registered Owner.
- Signed Weight Docket and Signed Weigh Master Certificate.
- Current VRC.
- New – A minimum of 4 exterior photographs and 6 interior photographs showing before and after photographs of the vehicle including showing the permanent changes relevant to conversion and sufficient detail to identify the vehicle (i.e. picture from the front and picture from the back of the vehicle clearly showing registration plates).
- New – A detailed description of the work carried out (minimum 1 A4 page) on signed SQI headed paper.
- New – An invoice in respect of the work carried out and
- Where applicable, confirmation letter from Revenue Commissioners that any additional Vehicle Registration Tax (VRT) due has been paid in respect of the vehicle.
