ROAD TRAFFIC ACT 2004, SECTION 9
SPECIAL SPEED LIMITS
In accordance with Section 9 of the Road Traffic Act, 2004, Offaly County Council propose 1 No. amendment to the Speed Limit Bye-Laws 2023. The amendment is a proposed change on the R400-1/2, Rhode, Co. Offaly, between the Coolville Roundabout North of Rhode Village to the Westmeath County Boundary at the Mongagh River.
Proposed Amendment: Reduction in maximum speed limit from 80km/hr to 60km/hr.
A copy of the proposed amendment is available for public inspection at the following locations:
Roads Department, Offaly County Council, Aras an Chontae, Charleville Road, Tullamore, Co.Offaly.
Town Hall, Edenderry, Co.Offaly,
Between Wednesday, December 18th 2024 to Friday 24th January 2025 Inclusive.
