ROADS ACT 1993 – NOTICE OF INTENTION, Temporary Closing of the L20157 Oratory Lane at Clara County Offaly.
Offaly County Council gives notice of its intention to close, temporarily, the following roads in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 (S.I 197 of 1993) and the Roads Regulation 1994 Part 8.
L20157 Oratory Lane at Clara County Offaly.
This road shall be closed for up to 10 days within the period from 02nd September 2024 to 11th September 2024.
Alternative routes are as follows:
Southbound Diversion Route
– Traffic travelling south will be diverted at Clara onto Traffic Management Diversion Route (Via R420 Church Street, right onto Oratory Row and right onto Curragh Road (Local Access Only)).
Northbound Diversion Route
– Traffic travelling north will be diverted at Curragh Road onto Traffic Management Diversion Route (Via L-2015-7 Curragh Road, left onto Oratory Row and left onto R-420 Church Street).

Any objections to this temporary closure should be made in writing to the undersigned on or before close of business on 23rd August 2024 not less than three days from date of publication of this notice.
The road closure is necessary to facilitate drainage work.
