Tá an réamhdhearadh don ghréasán atá beartaithe, Gréasán Raonta Rothar Thulach Mhór, céim 1, críochnaithe. Clúdaíonn céim 1 an chuid den bhaile ó thuaidh den Chanáil Mhór. Is é aidhm an tionscadail ná bonneagar sábháilte compordach a chur ar fáil do rothaithe agus do choisithe sa chuid seo de Thulach Mhór.
Sula gcuirfear tús leis an nós imeachta comhairliúcháin reachtúil faoi Chuid 8, tionólfar lá eolais buail isteach oscailte Dé Máirt, an 2 Aibreán ag oifigí Cheantar Bardasach Thulach Mhór (Halla Acres, Sráid Chormaic) ó 14:30 go dtí 19:30. Beidh líníochtaí den scéim atá beartaithe ar taispeáint agus beidh baill foirne i láthair chun an scéim atá beartaithe a phlé agus aon cheisteanna a fhreagairt.
Tugtar cuireadh do gach duine bualadh isteach am ar bith iarnóin an 2 Aibreán agus tá fáilte mhór roimh gach tuairim agus moladh maidir leis an scéim atá beartaithe.
The preliminary design for the proposed Tullamore Cycle Network phase 1 has been completed. Phase 1 covers the area of the town north of the Grand Canal. The aim of the project is to provide a safe and comfortable infrastructure for cyclists and pedestrians in this sector of Tullamore.
Prior to commencement of the statutory Part 8 consultation procedure an open drop-in information day will be held on Tue 2nd April at the offices of Tullamore Municipal District ( Acre’s Hall, Cormac St.) from 14:30 until 19:30. Drawings of the proposed scheme will be on display and members of staff will be on-hand to discuss the proposed scheme and answer any queries.
All members of the public are invited to drop in at any time on the afternoon of 2nd April and all observations and suggestions concerning the proposed scheme are most welcome.
