Offaly County Council are in the process of preparing a new five-year Arts Strategy for Offaly (2023 to 2028) and the Arts Office is looking for people to come forward with their comments, observations and concerns, so that together we can build upon the strong foundations for the arts and artists and develop these even further.
We have had a lot of conversations so far, with a wide range of people across the county gathering information, ideas, and insights, with focus group meetings, conversations with key stakeholders and arts organisations, and via public meetings. We have our last Public Meeting at Edenderry Library tonight Wednesday 18th October from 6.30pm – 8pm, should you be in the area and wish to attend.
And now we are distributing a questionnaire, so if you’ve not had a chance to have your say, this questionnaire is for you. It will only take a few minutes and you will be contributing to the development of the arts over the next five years.
Your thoughts, ideas and experiences are essential in helping us understand arts provision for Offaly and how Offaly County Council Arts Office can continue to support and improve your experiences.
