Offaly Libraries are delighted to announce the much anticipated return of our award winning Offaly Libraries Comic Con, landing in Tullamore Library on Saturday 16th September 2023
This colourful, fun and free family friendly event has become a staple in Offaly’s library calendar since 2019.
With doors opening at 10am, there is a day full of activity planned with Vendors and Artists Allies, bookable LEGO and Art workshops in the Creative Zone, Dungeons and Dragons Sessions in the Table Top Games Area, while children can take a moment from the hustle and bustle at Shamrock Brick’s LEGO Freeplay Zone and Crafty Table spaces.
Visitors to the library will be treated to Viking battle and Medieval duel demonstrations, while prizes for all ages are up for grabs in the annual cosplay competition.
VEX Robotics will need help using robots to deliver Pizzas to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles throughout the day, while the presentation area will be full of interesting conversations on everything from Pokemon cards, to Collectibles and Cosplay!
It’s sure to keep everyone entertained until 4pm.
This innovative project is funded by Creative Ireland and Offaly Libraries.
