Offaly Artists Artist Database
The Offaly Artist Database is open to all professional living and/or born in Offaly and non-professional artists living in Offaly.
Download our Offaly Artist Database Form here, fill out, attach a CV and links to example of your work, sign with an original signature and
send to arts@offalycoco.ie requesting inclusion. The database notifies Offaly artists of any opportunities arising locally and nationally. i.e. Literature festivals, artist bursaries etc.
The Offaly Artists Database is for use by Offaly County Council Arts Office only. The Arts Office will contact members on the database with regards to Arts Events, Artist Opportunities and Training Courses relevant to Offaly Artists. Addresses and numbers remain confidential and are not given to third parties without prior consent.
Definition & Eligibility of Professional Artist – Please Read
*‘A Professional Artist can be defined as someone for whom their art form is their whole-time occupation. As a professional artist you will need to demonstrate a minimum of 2 of the following categories:
A] You hold a third level qualification in your field of practice
B] You have been paid and advertised as a solo or leading performer/exhibitor in a state funded institution
C] You has been published or produced by a recognised publisher or theatre/film company or venue
D] You have been recognised by your professional peers (from professional arts organisations) in the form of commendations, rewards, awards, grants, appointments to panels, etc.
