The Department of Arts Heritage Regional Rural and the Gaeltacht Affairs (DAHRRGA) has announced the Structures at Risk Fund for 2017 with a total (countrywide) fund available of €824,000.
The purpose of the SRF is to assist with works to safeguard structures included in the Record of Protected Structures and structures which contribute to the character of Architectural Conservation Areas. Only structures or parts of structures in immediate danger of significant deterioration will qualify for consideration for funding by DAHRRGA.
The DAHRRGA will consider 2 applications from Offaly County Council, only 1 of which can be a publicly-owned builiding, plus an additional one application if it relates to an Irish Historic House in private ownership.
If you are interested in making an application for consideration by Offaly County Council, the closing date for applications is Tuesday 28th February 2017. Application forms and particulars for the above scheme are available to download – Structures at Risk Fund 2017 Guidelines and Application Form
