Why Recycle?
Recycling is an excellent way of saving energy and conserving the environment. Offaly County Council endeavours to make it easy for the public to recycle. There are 44 bring centres throughout the county which accept glass bottles and jars, aluminium and steel cans, and in most cases textiles.
Recycling centres, known as Civic Amenity Centres, accept a wider range of materials including

Metals
Plastic bottles/packaging
